Nate Currin to open sold out Butch Walker concert Saturday at Center Stage Theater

(Atlanta, GA) -- Atlanta’s own folk and pop rock singer/songwriter Nate Currin will open for Butch Walker at his sold out show this Saturday at the Center Stage Theater. The performance is a special acoustic holiday show for Radio 105.7, who ran a contest for the supporting slot. Currin was one of four competing artists selected by Butch to compete… Nate then won the public voting after airplay and a contest on 105.7.

Earlier this year, Currin released his sophomore full-length album, The Pilgrim, on Archaic Cannon Records. The album is centered around one of the most significant works of English literature, The Pilgrim’s Progress, written in 1678 by John Bunyan. The book is presently translated into more than 200 languages and referenced by many influential authors including Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, and C.S. Lewis. The Pilgrim is Currin’s non-religious musical interpretation of this work and is now available on iTunes and Amazon.
